Field iD – a SaaS enterprise safety company and subsidiary of MasterLock is an innovative solution that uses a combination of electronic ID, mobile devices and the web to automate inspection and safety compliance management.
The development team wanted to revitalize their reporting system to make it more robust and intuitive with a focus on report generation.
Through a series of collaborative workshops, the team generated proto-personas of representative users, explored the customer journey, and mapped out a new IA and clearer vision for the product moving forward.
This process revealed that in addition to a refreshed UI, a revised information architecture and naming conventions would be essential to simplifying the user experience.
